Prof. Vaidotas Marozas

Vaidotas Marozas received the B.S., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Kaunas, Lithuania in 1993, 1995, and 2000 respectively. Since 2001, he has been with the KTU Biomedical Engineering Institute. He is a director of the Institute from 2016. He is also affiliated with Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, KTU, where he is a Professor responsible for M.Sc. programme of Biomedical Engineering. His research interests fall in the area of multimodal biomedical signal processing, medical sensors and devices for unobtrusive physiological monitoring: detection and characterization of cardiac arrhythmias in bioelectrical and biooptical signals, non-invasive indirect fluctuations monitoring of bioelectrolytes, technologies for home-based monitoring of chronic diseases. He has authored and co-authored more than 20 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, and has been in charge of several research and commercial projects.
