Researcher at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation Health Research Institute where he is currently the head of the Advanced Therapies group. More than 45 articles on stem cells, participant in 18 clinical trials of cell therapy, 6 patents associated with cell therapy. Reviewer of journal like BJS, Expert Opinion, …, and awarded by different European and North American societies. Participating member, from the design and procurement of cells, of the development of the first cell therapy drug for the treatment of perianal fistulose pathology in patients with Crohn’s disease, which has successfully passed all phases of a clinical trial and is currently marketed.
